In June of '98 I had sold my bike to my brother. By the following February, I discovered the internet and a number of goodies out there, like Sabmag. While looking through the motorcycle adds I found a 1985 VF750S Sabre with Fairing and Saddlebags.

I decided to contact the seller to see if he still had it. he did and it had the color matched fairing and saddlebags! Whooho! What a find! And I knew what a find it was! I jumped on it. One drawback. It was sitting in Edmonton, Alberta Canada! )-:

I had to wait for the thaws before venturing up to pick it up, but it was well worth the wait! The bike had 8,100 miles on it, and I now have about 30,000 on it. It has been a great bike.

That was until I got my wife to go on a ride with me and I found out how small it was. Even after putting a rack on it, the poor 750 just didn't have the juice. So, after four years, this bike has taken a back burner to my V65 Sabre. I still have it, but it hardly gets to go anywhere. I had to buy a battery Maintainer so I didn't have to buy it a new battery every time I wanted to fire her up.
